Lonworks repeater is also called Lonworks point to point fiber optic modem, or fiber Lonworks converter, Lonworks repeater connects LonWorks twisted pair copper networks to LonWorks fiber optic networks, or extends twisted pair networks over long distances or through harsh environments. The application of optical fiber avoids the burning equipment caused by different electric potential at different node and the disturbance caused by strong electromagnetic induction or high voltage, and can work in explosion-proof environment safely; moreover, it can save the cost on surge protective equipment which is necessary for transmission by copper. Our Lonworks repeaters have been tested strictly according to industrial standard, which is suitable for harsh industrial working conditions. It can be widely used in power distribution automation, industrial process control site, data acquisition and automation and surveillance system. Our Lonworks repeaters can be used for point-to-point or point to multipoint. Available transmission distance through multi mode fiber is within 2KM, through single mode fiber is within 45KM. It supports standard speed at 78Kbps or 1.25Mbps. Fiber port is ST.
