Introduction
The RS-485 Bus Fiber Optic Modem realizes RS-485 device to the bus-type optic fiber connections on the interconnection. Single-mode fiber is used with effective communication distance of 0-25Km, supporting any rates from 0-1Mbps. As fiber is the transmission medium, safe, rapid and long distance communication is possible in abominable industrial environment, like thunder, hollow sea, electromagnetic interference. Cost in protecting facilities during thunder and hollow sea while using copper wire is saved.
