The POE++ media converter is a 2-port power sourcing equipment (PSE) controller designed for use in IEEE802.3bt Type 3 and 4 compliant Power over Ethernet(PoE) systems.It is designed to power compliant 802.3af, 802.3at, and 802.3bt PDs. It can negotiate PD delivered power up to 71.3W.
Operating power and 10/100/1000T(X) Ethernet data are easily combined on one cable, eliminating the need to install additional power outlets and electrical Cabling.
This converter transmit and receive 10/100/1000 Mbps data over a multi mode optical fiber, extending the Ethernet transmission distance to 550 meters.
